Q

What do you attribute your success to?

“I attribute my success to my faith, my perseverance, and my love for helping others. My journey as an author and autism advocate started with my own son’s story, and it taught me how to turn pain into purpose. Every challenge we faced became fuel to inspire, educate, and open doors for other families. That same drive pushes me to keep going, no matter how hard it gets, and to make a difference wherever I am.”

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

“The best career advice I’ve ever received is, ‘Your voice is your power — use it.’ That reminder has shaped everything I do as an author and autism advocate. It taught me that speaking up, even when it’s uncomfortable, can open doors, create change, and inspire others. It’s why I approach every role with authenticity and a commitment to making a real impact.”

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

“Make sure this work is both your passion and your purpose. Don’t step into this field just for a paycheck — choose it because it truly fulfills you. Advocacy and storytelling require resilience, focus, and integrity, and those qualities shine when you’re connected to your ‘why.’ When your work reflects what you genuinely care about, the impact you make — and the success you find — will follow naturally.”

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

“One of the biggest challenges in autism advocacy is breaking down stereotypes and ensuring that resources and understanding reach every community — especially underserved ones. At the same time, that’s also the biggest opportunity. With more platforms, technology, and public interest in diverse voices, there’s never been a better time to share real stories, build awareness, and push for meaningful change. My work as an author has shown me how powerful those conversations can be when they’re authentic and widely accessible.”

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

“The values most important to me are integrity, compassion, and perseverance. In my work as an author and autism advocate, integrity means staying true to the stories I tell and the communities I serve. Compassion drives me to listen, understand, and support people from all walks of life. And perseverance keeps me moving forward, even when the path is hard — because real change and real success both take commitment.”
