Katherine Beggs

Katherine Beggs is a versatile composer, music producer, and creative professional specializing in music and sound for media, film, and television. Based in New York City, she currently works as a Music Coordinator and Composer at 4 Elements Music, where she curates high-quality music libraries and creates custom playlists for clients. In addition, Katherine serves as a Marketing Coordinator for Arketype, focusing on trailer music promotion and outreach. Her music has been featured in acclaimed projects including ABC News' 20/20 special Jimmy Carter: A Full Life and the podcast A Moment In Health by Dr. Ashish Jha. Her experience spans original scoring, editing, and metadata management across multiple platforms and genres.

Katherine holds a Master’s degree in Screen Scoring from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Music and Political Science from Brown University, where she earned departmental honors and the Muriel Hassenfeld Mann Premium in Music. Outside of her professional work, she is passionate about mentorship, guiding high school students through music portfolio development with Crimson Education. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, running in Central Park, and reading historical fiction—interests that reflect her creativity and curiosity both in and out of the studio.
