Patricia Suggs

Dr. Patricia Suggs is a dynamic midlife empowerment coach and leadership development expert who specializes in guiding high-achieving women, particularly those aged 45 and older, to become confident, authentic, and unapologetic leaders. As the founder and CEO of ARISE Leadership Consulting, LLC, she leverages over 40 years of experience coaching professionals to overcome challenges such as imposter syndrome, self-sabotage, and ageism, helping them develop the communication, conflict resolution, and boundary-setting skills essential for effective leadership. Patricia’s holistic approach focuses on building self-confidence from the inside out, enabling women to claim their rightful place at decision-making tables and to lead with integrity and grace.

Patricia holds a Ph.D. in Human Development with a specialization in Social Gerontology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master of Divinity from Duke University. She is a certified speaker, coach, and trainer with the John Maxwell Leadership Team, through which she provides workshops, coaching, and inspirational talks designed to add value to individuals and organizations. Before founding her consulting firm, Patricia served for over four decades as a United Methodist pastor, applying her expertise in conflict reconciliation to help congregations heal and move forward. Today, she continues to inspire women to shed fear and embrace their full potential, making a significant impact on leadership development for women across industries.
