What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being a facilitator—leading from behind rather than running a dictatorship. I thrive when my team does well, and I take pride in helping create an environment where everyone can shine. Going to college was a challenge for me at the time, but hard work has always been a part of my life. The older I get, the more I want to learn and soak up knowledge like a sponge. Above all, being a good human is what I strive for every day.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve been given is to always expect the unexpected and to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Embracing uncertainty and stepping into situations that challenge me has taught me resilience, creativity, and growth in ways I never could have imagined.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges in the field include navigating a highly competitive market, frequent mergers, fluctuating tariffs, and constant pricing changes. The biggest hurdle is finding ways to maintain a competitive edge while still providing exceptional support to customers and ensuring they continue to return.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values I hold most important in both my personal and professional life are integrity and maintaining a strong personal brand. I also deeply value creativity and being resourceful, as they guide how I approach challenges and opportunities every day.
